It has been a long time since I have posted anything on our web page. My mom died in October and life has not been the same since. We all go through difficult times, the Bible promises that, but in John 16:33 it says “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” So, in the last five years I have done 38 funerals. Many of them I have not known ahead of time but through the process of doing the funeral I become keenly aware that this person was precious in God’s sight. My encouragement to those who might be struggling with something today is put your faith and hope in Jesus! He is the only one that can get us through the worst of storms. Many people reject Jesus, they think that He does not care or that HE is not even here so how can He care about me. Psalm118:22 “The stone which the builder rejected Has become the chief corner stone.” Jesus is says that He gives life! Jesus gives Hope! Do not reject Him like the rest of the world, but make Him the corner stone of your life. PB

Life is in his hands! We may not understand, his plan but it is ‘thy will be done’. When my husband had his stroke and was paralyzed for 5 years and so miserable in the nursing home, which he hated, all I could do do was remember the Lord had a reason! I prayed for strength and guidance, and received his blessings! I am at peace knowing he is safe in the arms of the Lord.
Thanks for the encouraging word. I needed the reminder to always look to Jesus.
